What to visit

The Lady B Bed & Breakfast has a very fortunate position, as it is equidistant from the beautiful Flegrea area and the historic city center of Naples.

Here we suggest some necessary stops, places not to miss the chance to visit!

Not to be missed:



A city rich in historical points of interest and a high concentration of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The area is easily accessible by public transport or walking along the promenade and at night, is a meeting place for young persons. Notes: city of Sofia Loren.


Mergellina has a stunning waterfront rich of bars, restaurants and street performers. The view of the gulf of Naples, is spectacular and Castel dell’Ovo dominates the area by the sea just in front of Vesuvio. You’ll enjoy one of the most beautiful walks in the world and is only 20 min away by train.


In Chiaia district there are a wide variety of restaurants, pubs, wine bars and discos. The real Neapolitan nightlife takes place here, just 20 min away by Metropolitana (stop: Piazza Amedeo)


The Gulf of Naples embraces the fantastic islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, each island has its own charm and are all reachable in less than 1 hour embarking from the port of Naples (Molo Beverello) or from the port of Pozzuoli.

Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples is one of the main venues for exhibitions in Italy, along with the Fiera del Levante in Bari, the largest of the South. It covers an area of 720,000 m².


The stadium San Paolo is located in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood and is the main sports complex in the city and the second stadium in Italy for capacity after Meazza in Milan.


The City of Science has an interactive science museum, an “incubator” for businesses and a training center. The interactive science museum was burned in March 2013 but re-opened the following month with exhibitions only in some areas of the complex.


Solfatara is one of the 40 volcanoes that make up the Campi Flegrei, and is located in the center of Pozzuoli. The volcanic crater is still active but it’s been dormant for nearly two thousand years.


L’Anfiteatro Flavio is one of the two Roman amphitheatres existing in Pozzuoli and dates back to 150 AD. Today is located in the center of Pozzuoli and near the stop of Pozzuoli train station.


Also know as Temple of Serapis is an archaeological site located in the port area of Pozzuoli. For his dual interest, archaeological and scientific, it is one of the most famous monuments of the ancient world.


The Park Virgiliano, also called Park of Remembrance, is a big green area with a panoramic view on the sea and the city. The park is located in the district of Posillipo, in Naples.


Castel dell’Ovo is the oldest castle in the city of Naples and is one of the elements that stand out most in the famous view of the gulf. It is located between the neighborhoods of San Ferdinando and Chiaia, opposite the area of Mergellina.
